The Riveter Partners with Poppy for On-Demand Childcare

Dear The Riveter Community,

I have incredibly exciting news:

We're proud to partner with Seattle-based, and female-founded, Poppy to provide on-demand childcare! Poppy is offering The Riveter members a complimentary six-month membership, plus discounted prepaid monthly plans.

As The Riveter grows, our team is continually searching for partnerships that bring our members a rich array of benefits to support them at work, in wellness and at home. Childcare has been a request from much of our community and we’re thrilled to have found a partner that shares in our mission.

Here’s How it Works: As a parent, join Poppy and share your childcare needs and preferences. When you need childcare for any occasion (like when you head to The Riveter) Poppy will connect you to an experienced, vetted caregiver that best fits your family. Just tell Poppy the time and date, and Poppy will confirm who's coming and send their profile for your review.

The Partnership: Upon sign-up, members of The Riveter will receive a complimentary six month Poppy membership which includes access to Poppy’s vetted community of caregivers, plus other perks like community events and resources. With the free membership, caregiver rates start at $20/hr for Poppy Pros and, coming soon, Poppy Sitter starting at $17/hr. Additionally, Poppy is offering discounted, prepaid monthly plans: Only $360 for $400 of care hour credits to use each month - that’s approximately 20 hours of childcare! Just ask for the "Poppy 20 Plan." The Poppy partnership is available to all The Riveter members and serves most Seattle’s neighborhoods.

Join Easily: The complimentary membership is only available to The Riveter members. If you’re not a member, we’d love to help you join our community at TheRiveter.co! If you are, register at MeetPoppy.com and confirm that you’re a member of The Riveter.

Cheers to making parenting a little easier,
